PORTFOLIO ZETTL GmbH
ZETTL GmbH is a medium-sized company and has been focused on mechanical and apparatus engineering for over sixty years and stands for the planning and construction of machines and systems in mechanical and thermal process engineering. The traditional business areas of drying and vacuum technology include the core products of paddle dryers, roller dryers, filter dryers, mixers and granulators. In addition, the recently adopted technologies of rotary kilns and rotary kiln, coolers and distillation apparatus such as BPD (Batch Process Distiller) and MFD (Mercury Fine Distiller) are part of the product range. ZETTL's portfolio also includes technologies for the treatment and stabilization of NORM residues.
Service
ZETTL accompanies customers from the beginning of the initial investment consideration to the commissioning of the ready-to-use system. With the integration of modern software tools, all customer problems can be analysed. Installation and commissioning of complex systems and machines are part of daily business. ZETTL engineers accompany the assembly and commissioning of the projects on site, at any time and worldwide. We will instruct and train the operating personnel and supervise the systems with maintenance and services throughout their entire life cycle.
Market Trends
ZETTL is expanding its product portfolio with innovative and special recycling technologies and is responding to the increasing demand in this growth market. Recent Expansion and developments
September 2023
Opening of the new Roßla technical centre with the aim of being able to offer comprehensive services for customers. The apparatus from the ZETTL portfolio is available for product trials on a laboratory and pilot scale. Tests are carried out for process evaluation, technology selection, process optimization, scale-up and product development, among other things.
May 2024
Adoption of the leading mercury recovery technology, Batch Process Distiller BPD from MRT System AB, Sweden. In a fully automated process, mercury is extracted from lamp waste, electrical appliances, cell batteries, dental amalgam, medical waste, and waste from the military and chemical industries. The highest mercury purity is guaranteed with the safest process control and the lowest emissions. This is a perfect complement to ZETTL's technologies for mercury stabilization (MSU) and the processing of contaminated materials.
July 2024
Opening of the ZETTL branch in Dessau as an engineering office with a focus on rotary raw technology for the chemical, mineralogical as well as the construction and binder industry, pyrolysis and recycling processes. In particular, the know-how and many years of experience of the employees of the former ZADCON GmbH are relied on. In ZETTL's own pilot rotary kiln, customer tests and developments are carried out in the technical center of the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in close cooperation with the Thermal Process Technology Department.
Cooperations
ZETTL continues to expand its partnership network. A high priority is placed on research and development. This includes cooperation with various Fraunhofer Institutes and Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. The latest scientific findings are constantly being incorporated into the development of processes and apparatus.
